She was predeceased by: her husband John DeRuyter; her parents, Sam VanVoorst and Eva VanVoorst; and her siblings, James VanVoorst and Glenda Rhodes.
She is survived by: her daughter Deb Thilges (Nick) of Owasso; her grandchildren, Nicole Riggs (Andy) and Jordan Arnold (Brett); her son Brian DeRuyter (Tina) of Woodbury; her grandchildren, Abbey and Drew DeRuyter; her son Scott DeRuyter (Sheila) of Milford; her grandchildren, Zach DeRuyter (Ashley), Dustin DeRuyter, Noah, Ella, Eva and Olivia DeRuyter; her daughter Lisa Arrowood of Spirit Lake; her grandchildren, Kaycee, Rylie, Mason, Avery Arrowood and Finley McNab; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Connor Riggs, Parker, Cohen Arnold, Zaiden and Azalea DeRuyter; and her brothers, Harlan VanVoorst (Carol) of Sioux Falls, SD and Ron VanVoorst of Fort Myers, Florida. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
