He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Renza Dykstra and Joyce Dykstra (Smidt); his son-in-law Patrick Doom; his wife Carol Rosacker of Spencer; and his children, Leah Doom of Sioux Falls, Erin Olson (Brendan) of Sioux Center, Nathan Dykstra (Sarah) of San Francisco, Dylan Dykstra of Spencer and Ethan Dykstra (Ashley) of Urbandale, Iowa. He was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Iowa Heart Association.
