He was predeceased by: his father Charles Nelson; and his brother Pat. He is survived by: his mother Kay Nelson (Rustad) of Spencer, IA; his wife Shelly Elsbury of Dickens, IA; his daughter Ellie Mueller (Morgan) of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren, Charlie and Cora; and his sister Judy Male (Clyde) of Summerset, WI. He is also survived by other relatives; and many friends.
