He is survived by: his wife Betty Meyer; his daughters, Dawn Valenti of Pace, FL, Shawn Purcell (Dan) of Waukee, IA and Candace Smith (Tobin) of Sheldon, IA.; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Johnson of Des Moines, IA, Jenny Johnson of Grimes, IA, Lane Smith and Colin Smith of Sheldon, IA.; his great grandchildren, Ella Synwrong, Saydee Johnson, Remi Haberthorn, Laila Johnson and Roman Wardlow; his sister Leanne Reynolds (Gordon) of Early, IA; and his sister-in-law Marlene Hansen of Newell, IA.
