He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Reed and Carrie Reed (Burch); his wife Donna Jean Sorensen; his grandson Cory Reed; and his siblings, Doraine Murrell, Harry Reed, Jim Reed and Darrel Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Reed (Donna) of Aurelia and Joni Brehmer (Dan) of Spencer, Iowa. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
