She is survived by: her sons, Robert of Iowa City and Trace of Ames; her children-in-law, Bob Vander Tuig (Laurie) and Mary Thunhorst; and her grandchildren, Trent Thunhorst (Holly), Jenna Peter (Jefferson), Angie Edington (Jay), Janelle Elsbecker (Andrew), Kyle Vander Tuig (Shana), Tyler Vander Tuig (Kelli) and Gus Champlin. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
