He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Evans and Orpha Evans (Warwick); his former wife Laura Irene Bressler; his children, Arthur and Jane; his great grandchild Halle Jade; his brother-in-law Gale Alger; his sister Shirley Alger; his brother-in-law Kenneth Bressler (Ted); and his niece Cindy Richardson.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Meyer; his children, John Evans of Webster City, Althea Rouse (Rod) of Webster City, Curt Evans (Cari) of Ontario and Kenneth Evans of Spencer Iowa; and his stepdaughters, Diane Blum (Mike) of Clarksville, Deidre Drees (Richard) of Missouri Valley and Denise Bailey (Chad) of Peoria, Illinois. He is also survived by many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
