He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dodge and Vina Dodge (Anderson); his former wife Marlene Brawner; his son Curtis Dodge; his siblings, Flavius, Arthur Dodge and Marion Stanley; and his stepdaughter-in-law Linda Ruehle.
He is survived by: his wife Ardyce Smith Ruehle of Spencer; his sons, Brad Dodge of Spencer and Danny Dodge (Ann) of Spencer; his stepchildren, Mark Ruehle of Jesup, IA, Brian Ruehle (Pat) of Hazel Green, WI, Jon Ruehle (Dawn) of Cherokee, IA and Elizabeth "Beth" Gotte (Eddie) of Seguin, TX; and his sister-in-law Ruth Dodge of Longmont, CO. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
