He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ness and Ethyl Ness; his wife Ruth Sweet; and his sons, Gary, Larry, Roger and Curtis.
He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Weiser (Larry) of Yankton, SD; and his children, Kathryn Mackie (Larry) of Phoenix, AZ and Melvin Brown of Burnsville, MN. He is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
