With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Peiffer of South English, Iowa, who passed away on September 28, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund A Peiffer and Matilda M. Sieren Peiffer; his daughters, Karen Strawn and Ann Genkinger; his grandson Willis Strawn; his brothers, Howard, Kenneth, Jerome and Delbert Peiffer; and his son-in-law Roger Fry.
He is survived by: his wife Myra Arlene Appleget; his children, Jay P. Peiffer (Connie) of South English, Susan Fredrickson (Allen) of Alta, Meri Peterson (Jeff) of Alta, Lisa Cowan (Chris) of Ankeny and Jayne Orris (Larry) of Washington; and his sons-in-law, Calvin Genkinger (Vicki) and Bill Strawn. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
