She was predeceased by: her parents, William Appleget and Ethel Appleget (Parrish); her husband Richard John Peiffer; her children, Karen Strawn, Ann Genkinger and Jay Peiffer; her grandson Willis Strawn; her siblings, Richard Appleget, Wilmer Appleget, Charles Appleget, Viola Withworth and Laurena Hammes; and her son-in-law Roger Fry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Fredrickson (Allen) of Alta, Meri Peterson (Jeff) of Alta, Lisa Cowan (Chris) of Ankeny and Jayne Orris (Larry) of Washington; and her children-in-law, Connie Peiffer, Calvin Genkinger (Vicki) and Bill Strawn of South English. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
