He is survived by: his wife Connie Jo Dennis; his children, Josie Schoofs (Ross) of Ankeny and Joel Peiffer (Lindsay) of Johnston; his granddaughters, Genevieve, Alexandria, Vivienne Schoofs and Bianca Peiffer; his sisters, Susan Fry-Fredericksen (Allen), Meri Peterson (Jeff), Lisa Cowan (Chris) and Jayne Orris (Larry); and his brothers-in-law, Bill Strawn and Calvin Genkinger.
