It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne Croy of Solon, Iowa, born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Croy and Bessie B. Croy (Crippen); his wife Betty J. Shramek; and his siblings, Dorothy Croy, William, Harold, Leo, Gene, Raymond and Theodore Croy.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Croy (Candy Gilespie), Barbara Croy (Greg Nelsen), Jeff Croy (Leslie) and Joseph Croy (Zee); and his brother Paul Croy (Shirley). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Solon American Legion in his name.
