He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Mickelson and Hazel Mickelson (Wicks); and his siblings, LaVonne Cascio, LaVern Mickelson and Marvin Mickelson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Barb" Davis; his sons, Brad Mickelson (Anita) of Cedar Rapids and Matt Mickelson (Cindy) of Peoria, Arizona; his grandchildren, Amanda Kramer (Sam), Brandon Mickelson, Emily Lynch (Conor) and Tyler Mickelson; his great grandchildren, Brynlee, Alaina Kramer and Kai Lynch; and his siblings, Janet Lumpa of West Branch and Keith Mickelson (Jeanette) of Stillwater, Minnesota. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to either the Solon Fire Department, Gloria Dei Lutheran, Solon Food Bank and or the Solon Public Library.
