He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Frank and Agnes Josephine Novotny (Dvorsky); and his sisters, Alma Funk (Dick) and Irene Shima (Glenn). He is survived by: his children, Linda Van Etten (Frank), Teresa Novotny, David Novotny (Judy) and Lora Raymon (Mike). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; as well as his nieces and nephews.
