She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Carlson and Philomena Carlson (Becker); her husband Allan Joseph Serovy of Mary's Catholic Church; her children, Michael, Ronald Serovy and Janet Serovy; her grandson Quinn Fields; her siblings, Mildred Plotz (Martin) and James Carlson; and her brother-in-law Roger Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Serovy (Judy) of Lisbon and Carol Fields (Andrew) of Solon; her grandchildren, Andrew Serovy (Lisa), Angela Burke, Joshua Serovy (Angie) and Elissa Acuff (Nathan); her great grandchildren, Madison, Mallory, Zach (Taylor), Logan (Kelsey) and Slaten (Alexis); her great great grandchildren, Ellee and Blair; her daughter-in-law Terry Serovy of Iowa City; and her siblings, Dolores Plotz (Walter), Edith Williams, Robert Carlson (Karen) and Mary Ann Berry (John). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (1749 Racine Ave NE, Solon, IA 52333). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
