She was predeceased by: her parents, Loney Allen and Mary Allen (Hilby); and her siblings, Evelyn (Kenneth), Mary (Cecil), Joyce (Donald), Robert (Dorothy), Beryl and Melvin (Virginia).
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Long; her children, Mari Long (Blake Carlson), Mark Long and Kim Long (Patrick Donley); her grandchildren, Rylan, Miles and Juniper; her brother Lynn Allen (Rosemary); and her sister-in-law Maryannette Allen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Iowa Alzheimer's Association or the St. Bridget's Foundation.
