He was predeceased by: his father William; his sister Cathy; and his father-in-law Donald. He is survived by: his wife Jenny; his children, Kelsey Cannon of Baltimore, Zach Cannon (Abby) of Solon and Jessica Cannon (Clint Erhart) of Cedar Rapids; his mother Wilma Cannon of West Branch; his grandchildren, Cael, Jovie and Drake; his siblings, Tom Cannon (Julie) of Cedar Valley and Jackie Perez (Marco) of North Liberty; and his mother-in-law Margaret Burton of Iowa City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to his family, for an educational fund that has been set up for his grandchildren in care of Hills Bank and Trust.
