With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Margaret Ellen Krob of Solon, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ransom Terry and Cora Florence Hewitt (Lievens); her husband Duane Krob; her siblings, Dick and Mary Jo Kline; her father-in-law Joe Krob; her stepmother-in-law Betty Krob; and her brothers-in-law, Stewart Kline and Mike Krob.
She is survived by: her children, Joe (Becky) of Solon, Terry of Shueyville, Kendall of Swisher and Melissa Krob (Dan Grimm) of Solon; her grandchildren, Stephanie Early (Sam), Nick Krob (Stephanie) of Des Moines, Kolton Krob (Mallorie) of Swisher, Jaley, Jamison and Jake Grimm of Solon; her great grandchildren, Isaac, Reece, Norma, Knox, Louise (Lou-Lou) and Kooper; and her siblings-in-law, Kevin Krob (Sherri) of Solon, Michelle Lenz (Donny Miller) of Solon and Chloe Hewitt of Moline.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (1749 Racine Ave NE, Solon, IA 52333). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to St. Mary Catholic Church of Solon or Optimist International Foundation.
