With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Donna Steen of Solon, Iowa, born in Albia, Iowa, who passed away on March 26, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sinclair and Irma Dougall; her husband Dwight Steen; her grandson Jeff Brogan; and her siblings, Ralph, Adrian, Max, Johnny, Ronald, Verbal, Ruth and Ruby.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Brogan (Bob Brogan) and Bob Steen (Linda Steen); her grandchildren, David, Sarah, Ryan, Angie, Melissa and Alison; her stepgrandchildren, Deb Owens, Dave, Sue Mellecker, Tom and Barbara Messer; her great grandchildren, Maddy, Ashlyn, Carly Steen, Sully Steen, Brady, Katie Vitosh, Chris, Heather Mellecker, Jamie, Melissa Owens and Brianne Messer; and her sister Gerrie.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Compassus, Our Lords Church of Solon, or Tracy Methodist Church.
