He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Dawson and Ella Dawson (Morris); his wife Mary Jo; his brothers, Jimmie and Floyd; and his son Todd.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Jose King; his wife Karen Dawson; his siblings, Glen Dawson (Doris) and Buelah Lafferty; his daughters, Mary Ehrhardt (Timothy), Cindy Dawson and Chris Dawson (Josh); his stepchildren, Jill Page (Chad), Page Rachowicz and David Brown; and his grandchildren, Sarah Doherty (Chad), Charissa Register (Alex), Mikaela Taylor (Mike), Rachael, Isaac McIntosh, Calvin Freese, Brice, Brielle Page, Morgan, Mason Rachowicz, Jon and Ayla Brown.
