He was predeceased by: his wife Connie Jean Wilslef; and his siblings, Annie Barnes, Denny Harms and Alvin "Bud" Harms. He is survived by: his children, Heidi Brodersen of Humble, Heather Brodersen (Manny Pierson) of Humble, Heath Brodersen of Clifton Park and Pete Brodersen (Dani) of Swisher; his grandchildren, Sara, R. J. Ruiz, Theresa Pierson, Edward Brodersen, Johnathan, Alec and Isaac Brodersen; his brother Lorenz Brodersen Jr. (Sue) of Wyoming; and his siblings-in-law, Helma Schultz of Bondurant, Ruthie Hoover (Ed) of Detroit, Rhonda Walters (Kenny) of Marion and Melvin "Buster" Wilslef (Donna) of Wyoming. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
