He is survived by: his wife Diana; his children, Krista Fischer (Mark) and Chad Connelly (Teri); his grandchildren, Beau, Collin Fischer, Kirsten Ploog (Tyler), Chase Connelly, Jadyn and Katlyn Jeter; his great grandchild Carver Ploog; his sisters, Phyllis Marshall, Charlene Anderson (Bill) and Sandra Mooney; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Snider and Judy Thirtyacre.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Solon Fire Department or Iowa City Hospice in Kent's name.
