He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shover and Berniece Shover (Sievers); and his wife Shirley. He is survived by: his siblings, Vernon (Nancy), Virginia Mullen (Don) and Edward (Gerrie); his daughter Kim Herren (Scott); his grandchildren, Kurt (Victoria), Scott E Herren (Prapti), Brooke Gaffney (Patrick), Brett Herren and Chanse Shover; and his stepgrandchildren, Mandy Warson (Allen), Dusty Miller (Lisa) and Trevor Miller (Kim).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Goettsch Funeral Home (306 E 1st St, Anamosa, IA 52205). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery.
Despite battling Alzheimer's disease for over a decade, Kenny maintained his cheerful demeanor with his family and the staff at the care facilities.
