With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Keever E. Swenka of Solon, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on January 26, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Swenka and Mary Swenka (Klima); and his brothers, Dennis and Glenn. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Patten; his children, Amber Wesely (Richard) of Cedar Bluffs, Paul Swenka (Cindy) of Robins and Audra Nearad (Keith) of Swisher; his grandchildren, Joseph Nearad, Jenna White (Austin) and Samuel Wesely; his siblings, Ardis Sevcik (David) of Frisco, Becky Kaefring (Robert) of Martelle, Carol Swartz (Jim Pearson) of North Liberty and Charles Swenka of Amana; and his sister-in-law Linda Swenka of Morse. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established and donations may be directed to the family.
