She was predeceased by: her husband Milt; her parents, Jack Briar and Josephine Briar (Anderson); and her siblings, Helen Findling and James Briar.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Harris (Ray) of Blue Springs and Allan Hunt (Mary) of Solon; her granddaughters, Christine Harris of Blue Springs and Stephanie Whitfill (Cody) of Grain Valley; her great grandchildren, Collin and Ethan Whitfill; her brother Charles Briar (Barb) of Des Moines; and her sisters-in-law, Marisa Briar of High Bridge, Marian Dooley of Indianola and Carol Hunt of Bloomfield. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Solon United Methodist Church.
