He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Larry and Johnette "Jonnye" Miller; his wife Sara Miller of Solon; his children, Myles Miller of Minneapolis, Molly Miller (Shane) of Tampa, Moriah Levin (Matt) of Omaha, German, Christian Bauer, Jojo van Megern and Johanna Metz; his siblings, Jan Sauter (Ed), Jeff Miller (Anne), Joel Miller and Jill Millar; and his cousin Mike Keene. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

His family are not planning any public services due to the Covid virus.
