He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Koss and Elizabeth Koss (Fuhrmeister); his brother Donald Koss (Sheri); his grandson Dayton Koss; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Lacina and Dan Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Arnold; his children, Linda Bourgeois (Brian), Janet Cavanah (Bud), Susan Tremblay (Ron), James Koss Jr. (Brenda), Tiffany Koss, Jody Miller (James), Jamie Smith (Matt) and Dustin Koss; his sisters, Nancy Heathman (Mark) and Bonnie Lacina; his sister-in-law Nancy Nelson; and his niece Tammy Heathman. He is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church or St. Bridget's Foundation.
