She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hagerman and Nellie Hagerman of Central City, Iowa.; her husbands, Daniel James Essary and Albert Reid Johnson; and her siblings, Virginia Mae Halfman, Rosie Pauline Philips and Leo Hagerman. She is also survived by three daughters and two sons.
