Donald Gaddis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Gaddis of Solon, Iowa, born in Homestead, Iowa, who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy and Marie Gaddis Sr. (Beck); and his siblings, Roy Jr., Bill, Bob, Tom and Barbara McPherson.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Ellingson Gaddis; his daughters, Diane Malatek (Paul), Laurel Stock (Kent), Hope Morrison (Richard) and Maria Evans (Todd); and his grandchildren, Dana Murphy, Donald Murphy, Diana Lynn Cassady, Kendrie Stock, Kylee Stock, Jason Heeren, Shawn Morrison, Tyler Morrison, Ellie Evans and Caden Evans. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

Memorials may be made to the El Kahir Shrine Children's Transportation Fund, Miracles in Motion or the St. John Lutheran Church Building Fund.
