He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Swenka and Mary Swenka (Klima); and his brother Glenn Swenka. He is survived by: his former spouse Milly Costolo; his wife Linda Swenka (Beeler); his sons, Ben Swenka and Chad Swenka (Amanda Hammond); his stepchildren, Monica Reardon (Mike) and Troy Brumley; his grandchildren, Olivia, Ethan, Jack, Caleb, Alex, Brody, Pearl, Louis and Hugh; and his siblings, Ardis Sevcik (Dave), Becky Kaefring (Robert), Carol Swartz, Keever Swenka (Gloria) and Charles Swenka. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Due to COVID, his family hopes to have a Celebration of Life in the summer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
