He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Burroughs and Freda Burroughs (Griffin); his wife Helen Burroughs; his siblings, Tim Burroughs (Barb) and Elizabeth Burroughs; and his siblings-in-law, Tim Aken, Kathy Burroughs and Clarissa Burroughs.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Burroughs of Corona, NM, Michelle Amsden (Jimmie) of Manning, IA and Melissa Burroughs (Troy Peterson) of Sioux City, IA; his siblings, Robert "Bob" Burroughs of Ute, IA, David Burroughs (Mary) of Sioux City, IA, Tony Burroughs (Kathy) of Sioux Falls, SD, Raymond Burroughs of Ute, IA, Richard Burroughs of Marian, IA, Dan Burroughs (Jane) of Ute, IA and Ruth Aken of Montrose, CO; and his close friend Hillary. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
