She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Swenson and Pauline Swenson (Reeder); her husband Glen Butler; her parents-in-law, George and Maude Butler (Lovell); her brothers, Myron Swenson and Robert Swenson; and her siblings-in-law, Helene Swenson, Doris Jepson and Tuffy Jepson.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Butler (Lora) of Soldier, Neal Butler (Joyce) of Mesa, Scott Butler (Rhonda Ferris) of Onawa and Penny Mauch (Steve) of Mapleton, Iowa; her grandchildren, Maren Butler (Hershel Roach III), Nathan Butler (Ashley Mora), Emily Sheetenhelm (Mark), Karlene Butler, Jessica Mullin (Donald), Joshua Butler, Justin Butler (Lora), Kyle Mauch (Heather), Daniel Mauch (Sara), Kalana DeBlauw (Ben) and Marissa Lueth (Charlie); her brother James Swenson of Mapleton, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law, Lucille Swenson of Larimore and Paula Swenson of Soldier, Iowa. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and a couple great-great-grandchildren.
