He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Mauch and Evva Mauch (Greenough); his son Kenny (Mesenbrink); his brothers, Ronald Mauch, Vernon Mauch Jr., Daniel "Whitey" Mauch, Jerry Mauch and Rusty Mauch; and his siblings-in-law, Leo Morgan (Charlotte), Bill Morgan, Walter Morgan, Larry Morgan, Helen Hesse and Betty Suhr (Verdeen).
He is survived by: his wife Doris Mauch; his children, Jacqueline Vasquez (Benito), Jimmie Mauch Jr., Sherry Wessling (Reggie), David Mesenbrink (Teresa), Troy Mesenbrink (Shirley) and Gail Cameron (Jeremy); his sisters, Dorothy Hale (Lyle) and Linda Kamm (Warren); his siblings-in-law, Beth Mauch, Kaye Mauch, Betty Morgan, Danny Morgan (Louise) and Rex Morgan (Deb); and his close friend Richard Poole. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; three great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel (1629 10th St, Onawa, IA 51040). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Soldier Lutheran Church (223 Larre St, Soldier, IA 51572).
