It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Richard Holverson of Soldier, Iowa, who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Holverson and Celia Holverson (Allen); his wife Margaret Holverson (Richards); his parents-in-law, Forest and Sophie Richards (Bjorklund); his siblings, Skip Holverson and Mary Collison; his niece Angie Holverson; his nephew John Collison, Jr.; and his son-in-law Jerry Bair.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Melby (Mike) of Soldier and Steve Holverson (Cheryl) of Hornick, Iowa; his grandchildren, Kyle Allen (Courtney), Kelli Beedle, Jessica Keck (Christian) and Piper Holverson; his great grandchildren, Morgan, Aaron, Kate Beedle, Addison and Charlotte Allen; his siblings-in-law, John Collison and Linda Peterson; his close friend Nancy Smart of Elk City, Idaho; and his pet Cheeto. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
