It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah J. (Mead) Ulven of Smithland, Iowa, who passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark Mead and Helen Mead (Daniels); her husband Chuck Ulven (Charles); her siblings, Pat Moon (Bob) and David Mead; her grandparents, Aaron, Lillie Coon, Walter and Mabel Daniels; and her parents-in-law, Earl and Alma Ulven.
She is survived by: her sons, Clark (Jamila) of Sioux City and Dewey Ulven (Dennis) of Salix, Iowa; her grandchildren, Anthony "Tony" of Arkansas, Chris, Joey, Rachel Ulven of Sioux City, Zach and Jacob Ulven of Salix, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Charles Ulven of Arkansas, Blaze, Axel and Lynx of Sioux City, Iowa; and her siblings, Richard (Carmen) of Florida and Carol Larson (Donnie) of Smithland, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
No luncheon will occur due to covid-19 concerns.
