It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie L. Burkhart (Smithland, Iowa), who passed away on April 30, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Burkhart and Lenora Burkhart (Claus); and his siblings, Sharon Burkhart and Frankie Burkhart. He is survived by: his wife Ofelia Burkhart; his children, Dan Burkhart (Nancy), Stacey Burkhart, Janet Sorenson (Matt) and Morgan Daniels; and his siblings, Richard Burkhart and Shirley Johnston. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
