Dona Marie Swearingen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dona Marie Swearingen of Smithland, Iowa, born in Onawa, Iowa, who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal Swearingen and Ione Swearingen (Meili); her siblings, Betty Robson and Roger Swearingen; and her close friends, Keith Douglas and Peaches.
She is survived by: her great-nieces, Taylor, Jessica, Rachael and Maddy; her siblings, Boyd Swearingen (Connie) of Smithland, IA, Bill Swearingen (Bonnie) of Oklahoma City, OK, Wayne Swearingen (Jackie) of Mapleton, IA and Bethann Bakker (Verlyn) of Sanborn, IA; her brother-in-law Mike Robson of Wilcox, AZ; and her brother Street. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the United Methodist Church of Smithland, Iowa, requires all in attendance to wear a mask and to practice social distancing during all services.
