He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Barngrover and Ruby Barngrover (Bowman); and his siblings, Wes Barngrover, Russell McLarty, Lewis McLarty, Ernest Barngrover, Donald Barngrover, Edwin Barngrover, Ronald Barngrover, Lois Bains and Lyla Shupe.
He is survived by: his former wife Linda Iverson of Hornick; his daughter Elizabeth Ann; his wife Patricia Vaught of Smithland, IA; and his children, Shari Harrington (Marvin), Dave Jr. Barngrover (Kelli), Liz Peterson (Mike Lewis), Colin Parsley (Pamela) and Martin Barngrover (Mary). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
