It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Topf of Sloan, Iowa, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Florence Lenore Ordway (Holden) and William Ordway; her husband Lawrence Topf; her brother Bill Ordway; her son Vincent Topf; and her grandson Evan Lawhead.

She is survived by : her children, Kathy Baker of Sloan, Bernard Topf of Mars, Larry Topf (Marilyn) of Sloan, Norma Weber (Marty) of Paullina and Evelyn Lawhead (Jeff) of Ida Grove, Iowa. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A. M. Friday, January 22, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Salix, Iowa with Father Michael Erpelding officiating. (Social distancing measures must be followed- Due to Covid-19 restrictions- Masks are required for the visitation and service.).
