We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2021, at the age of 79, Ruth Brenden of Sloan, Iowa, born in Sioux City, Iowa passed away. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Dunn and Mary Dunn (Dahl); her husband David Brenden; and her siblings, Bill Dunn (Alice) and Dixie Thomas.

She is survived by : her sons, Larry Brenden (Kerry Wood) of Salix and Jim Brenden of Whiting, Iowa; her grandchildren, Austin, McKayla, Bo and Summer; her brother-in-law Gary Thomas; and her friend Nancy Dunn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be 10:00 A. M. Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Community Church of Christ, Sloan, Iowa with Pastor Kody Killian and Dr. Emery Killian officiating. (Please bring and wear masks).
