He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Kenneth, Annabelle Johnson, Francis and Marie Collins; and his father-in-law William Roberts.

He is survived by : his parents, John Collins and Vicki Collins (Johnson); his wife's children, Angela, Austin and Joshua; his wife Shelly; his children, Austin John Collins, Haley Jo Collins, Angela Kreger and Joshua Miller (Alesha Hill); his grandchildren, Coda, Case, Cadin, Bennie, Brennen and Ashlyn; his sisters, Karla Bohle (Rick), Rhonda Meyers (Ryan) and Lori Knox; and his mother-in-law Sheryl Jones. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; great nieces; great nephews; other relatives and great friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Kevin's family.
