He is survived by : his son Jason (Britni Amundson) of McCook Lake, SD; his wife Patsy Thompson of Sloan; his daughter Melisa Haakenson (Steve Fontenot) of Le Mars, IA; his grandchildren, Steven Haakenson, Kristina Haakenson, Stevie Amundson and Quinn Amundson; and his parents-in-law, Darline Thompson, Sandy Gordon, James Thompson, Debbie Leichtnam and Kathy Thompson.
