With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene LaRay Eby of Sloan, Iowa, born in Pender, Nebraska, who passed away on December 25, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Eby and Vera Eby (Rose). He is survived by: his wife Barb of Spencer; his children, Marty Eby (Lynn) of Spencer and Darcy Eby of Sloan, IA; his grandchildren, Hunter, Brennon, Piper Eby and Keaton Kell; and his sister Sharon Mogenson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to be given to the Iowa Great Lake Lutheran School or Christ The King Lutheran Church Both in Spencer.
