He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey Heineman and Helen Heineman (Vosteen); his sister Karen Kay Heineman; his grandparents, Dick, Mary Vosteen (Vogt), John and Johanna Heineman (Otteman); his niece Marsha Hanly (Heineman); and his sister-in-law Sharon Heineman.

He is survived by : his wife Mary J Heineman of Sloan, Iowa; his children, Nancy Heineman of St. Louis Park, Susan Rose (Eric) of Urbandale, Joel Heineman (Tracy) and South; his grandchildren, Adam Rose, Ethan Rose, Broc Heineman and Brooklyn Heineman; and his siblings, Don Harvey Heineman (Rae) of Pender and Leann Jeppson (Dennis) of Wahoo, Nebraska. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
