He was predeceased by : his father Ralph Hudek; his former life partner Sandra; his mother Mae Hudek (Yocum); and his siblings, Don Hudek, June Ahmann, Isla Mae Hallman, Betty Bollard, Harriet Byers, Ralph Hudek Jr. and Those.

He is survived by : his wife Sally Hudek of Sloan, Iowa; his siblings, Norma Jean Pletke (Lee) of Lynchburg, Virginia, Albert Hudek of Council Bluffs and Ellen Kaipust (Chuck) of Omaha, Nebraska; and his sister-in-law Mary Clayton of Pocahontas, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
