He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Sandra, Frederick Winnes, Monica and Virgil Marvin; and his aunt Carol Alverson.

He is survived by: his parents, Ray Marvin and Dorothy Marvin (Winnes) of Ankeny, IA; his daughters, Hazel and Josette; his wife Jesse Marvin (Weatherman) of Slater, IA; his siblings, Chris Marvin of Ankeny, IA and Cassie; his brother-in-law Zach Nessa of Ankeny, IA; and his niece Finley Nessa. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you choose your favorite charity to make a memorial contribution to in Tanner's honor.
