She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wilson and Helen Wilson (Lanning); her husband Wesley Schonhorst; her children, John Schonhorst and Carol Christianson; her son-in-law Steve Shaeffer; and her siblings, Floyd, Leon, Clyde, Wayne, Florence, Vera and Martha Jane.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Shaeffer of Marion, Gary Schonhorst (Cathy) of Mount Vernon and David Schonhorst (Carol) of Grimes; her grandchildren, Todd Shaeffer (Theresa), Deb Janssens (Brice), Jennifer Shaeffer (Chad Choppard), Doug Schonhorst (Lori), Mike Schonhorst (Jennie), Katie Farber (Joe), Chris Schonhorst (Tiffany), Brad Schonhorst (Elizabeth), Matt Schonhorst, Josh Schonhorst and Megan Bergeson (Troy); her siblings, Carol Alleman, Ralph and Jim Wilson; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Wilson, Jan Wilson, Ardith Wilson and Betsy Wilson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
