He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Laura; and his son-in-law Doug Boomershire. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Fjelland of Slater; his children, Leslie Daniel (Tim) of Ankeny, Erica Fjelland, James Holsinger (Danyel) and Rebecca Holsinger; and his sister Donna Fjelland of Des Moines.
