He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Walker and Ella Walker (Halverson); his sister Phyllis Soderstrum; his brothers-in-law, Lowell Soderstrum, Paul Lem and Jack Roberts; and his son-in-law Rich Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Harmon; his daughters, LuAnn Gibson (Brock Herron) of Slater, Lynn Sheehan (Kelley Aarhus) of Slater and Lee Miller (Dave) of Stanhope, IA; his grandchildren, Joseph Gibson (Lora), Dusty Sheehan, Amy Holmes (Matt), Tabitha Eatock (Tyler), Jennifer Dovre (Anders) and Michael Sheehan; his great grandchildren, Afton, Marshall Holmes, Avery, Addison Gibson, Nelle, Nora Dovre, Josie, Brynlee and Cael; and his sisters, Norma Jean Lem of Ames and Ruth Roberts of Urbandale.
